Bernie

Office Manager

Bernie originally came to the clinic looking for a home after being a shelter kitty for a very long time. Luckily, he had the purrfect purrsonality to become a clinic cat, and he quickly advanced to the rank of clinic supervisor. He now spends his days expertly greeting our wonderful clients and helping to keep the seats of their chairs warm in the exam rooms. You might notice the extra long toe on his right rear foot, which we like to call his “dedo grande”. His hobbies include eating Dr. Thomas’ homemade chicken and helping her complete her notes at the end of the day.

Pickles

Head of Sales

Pickles began her training with For The Love of Cats in May of 2018. Her clinic duties include making clients smile with her silliness and persuading clients to buy toys for her and sometimes their own cats. Pickles is always keeping herself busy by playing with her crunchy ball. She helps manage staff by reporting any mischief to the clinic supervisor, Bernie. In her free time Pickles likes rolling around in catnip, chasing the laser pointer dot, running through her tunnel and eating Bernie’s food. When you visit the clinic you may find Pickles relaxing in her cat bed in our hallway.

Monique joined the team at For the Love of Cats Veterinary Clinic in January of 2013.

Whenever she isn't at the clinic caring for kitties, Monique's other interests include learning about ancient history, video gaming, and playing with makeup.

Angie Haley

Veterinary Assistant

Angie moved to Loveland, Colorado late summer of 2020, and just starting on her own in the big world, she found the best possible thing that could happen to her, she found For the Love of Cats Veterinary clinic. Angie started working at For the Love of Cats,  July of 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant, and she fell in love working with all of the wonderful kitty's that visit the clinic.

Angie grew up around cattle, bison, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, and of course, kitties, so she always had a passion for working with animals and loved learning about their well-being when the vet would visit her family's farm. At the beginning of her junior year of high school, she took part in FFA (Future Farmers of America) in 2018, Angie with her three teammates, won 1st place at Colorado State University in the Veterinary Science CDE. A couple of months later, after intense training, Angie and her three teammates flew over to Indiana and placed 13th out of 50 for the FFA National Convention in Veterinary Science.

Anytime Angie is not in the clinic, you can find her out in the sun, hiking, or going on fun adventurers with her dogs in the mountains or somewhere on a lake.

She is planning on going to veterinary school soon, but took a pit stop at For The Love of Cats! Vickie is originally from Rhode Island, and enjoys spending her free time outdoors. When not outside, she likes to relax and paint as a stress-reliever. Aside from her baby beta fish j-shot, Vickie is pet-less, which we are hoping to change in the near future!
